There are many ways to approach preparation for the PMP Exam. The following is one straight forward option that will work. However, you may prefer to modify it to your own preferences.

2. Review the material chapter by chapter in your Study Guide
Doing end of chapter/unit questions for each knowledge area is always good to help reinforce the learning process.

3. Review the PMBOK® Guide - Sixth Edition (Optional)
This is a good way to see the pure PMI PMP Material. It is actually quite a dry read if you can work your way through it.

4. Do an overall assessment of the different study areas and materials that work best for you

5. Complete Practice Exams
These will help you get a good feel for the exam material and where to focus your efforts on. There are many sources of practice exams including PMP Simulator or Professor ITTO

6. Book the exam
The real motivation begins when you have committed to a given date to write the exam. This is where the study focus comes into play. Ensure that you have enough time to finalize your preparations.

7. Review until the Examination
Repeating Steps 4 & 5 until you are regularly getting top marks (85% is very well prepared) on your PMP Simulator and/or Professor ITTO

8. Write the Exam
